Algetransit opens its commercial calendar for 2026 at Fruit Logistica Berlin

Algetransit has begun its calendar of commercial missions for 2026 with its participation in Fruit Logistica, the international trade fair of reference for the fresh products sector, which takes place in Berlin from February 4 to 6. The presence at this event is part of the company's strategy aimed at internationalization and the development of commercial relationships in the main forums related to agri-food trade.

The 2026 edition will bring together more than 2,600 exhibitors from nearly 90 countries, consolidating Fruit Logistica as the main meeting point for producers, exporters, importers, and logistics operators specialized in the horticultural trade. The event gathers each year the main players in the fresh products supply chain, with a wide representation of source and destination markets.

During the three days of the fair, Fruit Logistica will provide a space for analyzing the main trends in the sector, with attention to the digitization of processes, sustainability in the logistics chain, innovation applied to transportation, and the preservation of perishable products, as well as the development of emerging technological solutions. Initiatives like Startup World will allow for insights into proposals aimed at improving efficiency and traceability in the international trade of fresh food.

Algetransit's participation in this event has a direct relationship with its usual activity. The company develops a specialized operation in the international traffic of fruits and vegetables, mostly coming from third countries, and provides services to importers, exporters, and logistics operators who require precise, secure customs management tailored to the particularities of this type of goods.

The Port of Algeciras, where Algetransit has its main operations center, plays a relevant role in this area. The port infrastructure has been consolidated as a strategic logistics node for international horticultural trade, channeling a significant volume of refrigerated containerized goods and facilitating connections between Europe, Africa, America, and the Middle East.

The presence at Fruit Logistica will allow the company to maintain direct contact with clients and collaborators, as well as gain firsthand knowledge of market evolution and the regulatory and operational changes affecting fresh product trade. This professional environment fosters the exchange of information and the identification of new opportunities related to logistics and specialized customs management.

With this participation, Algetransit opens a year in which it plans to maintain an active agenda of international meetings related to agri-food trade, aligned with its operational activity and its positioning within the logistics and customs sector specialized in perishable products.
