The companyHanseatic Global Terminals(HGT) has announced a reorganization of its global executive structure with the appointment of new leaders for its operations in Europe and Latin America, as part of its international growth strategy. Starting from March 15,Mauricio Carrascowill assume the role of new regional CEO for Europe, where he will lead the company's operations on the continent. His position in charge of activities in Latin America will be taken over byRodrigo Galleguillos, who will lead the regional division.As explained by the company's CEO,Dheeraj Bhatia, these changes are part of the company's strategic plan for the coming years. "These modifications respond to our growth strategy towards 2030, which aims to expand our global network, strengthen operational capabilities in key markets, and move towards the goal of operating 30 terminals by that year," he pointed out.Carrasco is a civil electrical engineer from theUniversity of Chileand holds an MBA from theUCLA Anderson School of Management. Throughout his career, he has held high-responsibility positions in the international maritime and port industry. Among them, his tenure as General Director ofSAAM Terminals, his work as Senior Director atHapag-Lloydin Dubai and Shanghai, and his position as Senior Vice President of Business Development atCompañía Sudamericana de Vapores(CSAV).On his part, Galleguillos is a commercial engineer from theUniversidad Adolfo Ibáñezand holds a master's in Finance from the same institution, as well as an MBA fromBond Universityin Australia. He has developed an extensive career in the maritime, port, and logistics sectors, taking on various managerial responsibilities in Latin America.Founded in 2023, Hanseatic Global Terminals operates as an independent entity within the groupHapag-Lloydand focuses on the development and management of port terminals and logistics infrastructure. The company maintains the goal of consolidating itself as a global terminal operator and reaching 30 operational facilities around the world before 2030.
