Said Allach Mouh, who joins as the new pilot in theCorporation of Pilots of the Port of Tarifa, composed of a total of three professionals in charge of advising ship captains on the entry, exit, and maneuvers within the limits of the pilotage area.
During an event held at the port facilities, thepresident of the APBA, Gerardo Landaluce,personally handed over the credentials to Said Allach Mouh. The meeting was also attended by thePilot Luay Boulaich, thegeneral director, José Luis Hormaechea, and theHead of the Maritime Operations Department, Ángel Pinillas, who welcomed the new member and highlighted the importance of his work in ensuring safety and efficiency in maritime operations.
The role of the pilot is fundamental for the port, as his experience and knowledge of the pilotage area allow the captains to perform complex maneuvers safely, avoiding risks and facilitating the entry and exit of vessels of different sizes and cargo. The incorporation of Said Allach Mouh strengthens the port's capacity to maintain high standards of safety and operability.
