The Chamber of Commerce of the Campo de Gibraltar will present this Friday, March 13, the feasibility study for the declaration of a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in the region, a report prepared.

The Chamber of Commerce of the Campo de Gibraltar will present tomorrow the study to promote a Special Economic Zone in the region

TheChamber of Commerce of the Campo de Gibraltarwill present this Friday, March 13, the feasibility study for the declaration of a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in the region, a report prepared by the entity itself with the aim of analyzing the economic and social opportunities that this figure could generate.

The event will take place on Friday, March 13 at 10:15 a.m. at the Chamber's headquarters inAlgecirasand will feature the participation of institutional representatives from different municipalities of theCampo de Gibraltar.

During the event, the Chamber's president will speak,Carlos Fenoy Rico; the mayor ofAlgeciras,José Ignacio Landaluce Calleja; the mayor ofLos Barrios,Miguel Alconchel Jiménez; the first deputy mayor of theCity Council of La Línea de la Concepción,Juan Domingo Macías Pérez; the first deputy mayor of theCity Council of San Roque,María del Mar Collado Segovia; and the mayor ofCastellar de la Frontera,Adrián Vaca. After the presentations, a group photograph with the participating representatives and authorities is planned. Subsequently, the technical presentation of the study will be held in front of a broad local, regional, and provincial institutional and social representation. At the end of this session, a second group photograph will be taken with the attendees.

The Chamber of Commerce and the municipal representatives will analyze during the meeting the opportunities that could arise for the region from the implementation of a specific legal framework such as that of a Special Economic Zone, emphasizing the territorial and social nature of this proposal for the development of the Campo de Gibraltar.
