Cernaval participated for the first time in the Asia Pacific Maritime (APM) fair, held last week in Singapore. The presence of the shipyard from Cadiz at one of the main maritime fairs on the Asian continent represents a step in the company's internationalization strategy towards the Asia-Pacific markets.
The Cernaval Group attended the event in collaboration with its regional partner Hanker Marine Engineering, represented by Kelly Yeo, who acted as a link to the Asian market and facilitated the organization of the participation of the Spanish shipyard at the fair. During the three days of the fair, the Cadiz group maintained meetings with current clients located in Singapore and Hong Kong, as well as with new contacts in the naval sector in the region.
Cernaval publicly thanked both its team of partners in Asia and the clients and professionals who visited its stand during the fair. The company expressed its intention to repeat its presence at future editions of the event.

Asia Pacific Maritime is one of the reference fairs in the maritime and naval sector in Asia, which periodically gathers shipyards, shipping companies, equipment manufacturers, naval engineering companies, and maritime service providers from around the world in Singapore. The fair serves as a meeting point for establishing business relationships and presenting technical capabilities to a market that concentrates a substantial part of the global shipbuilding, ship repair, and maritime traffic activity.
Cernaval Group Shipyards operates in the shipbuilding and repair sector from its facilities in the bay of Algeciras, a strategic enclave in the Strait of Gibraltar that allows it to serve both the fleet that transits through one of the world's busiest maritime routes and the ships that operate in the western Mediterranean and the African Atlantic coast. The outreach to the Asian market through alliances with local partners like Hanker Marine Engineering responds to the search for new business opportunities in a region where the demand for maintenance and naval repair services remains high.
The participation of companies from the naval sector of the Campo de Gibraltar in international fairs of this level contributes to the external projection of the maritime industry of the region, which has a solid tradition in the repair and maintenance of ships due to its location next to one of the main crossroads of global maritime traffic.
