Five startups from Blue Core-Incubazul accompany the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz to the naval fair Navalia 2026 in Vigo

The Free Trade Zone of Cádiz attends Navalia once again, the international fair of the naval sector that celebrates its tenth edition in Vigo from May 19 to 21, with a delegation that includes five startups linked to the Blue Core-Incubazul programs. These are Action Tracker, Blue Step, The Talent Sea, Black Sand Marine, and EONSEA, which will be present in the exhibitor area of the Galician event to showcase their projects.

The delegate of the Cádiz Consortium, Fran González, will be in charge of promoting in Vigo the potential and strengths of the Blue Economy ecosystem and innovation that the Free Trade Zone is developing in the province of Cádiz. The five startups will share exhibition space with the Consortium itself and its Blue Economy initiatives grouped under the umbrella of Blue Core-Incubazul, a program that has been building alliances and initiatives to position Cádiz as a reference hub in the maritime economy at both national and international levels.

Alongside the representation of Blue Core-Incubazul, several companies established in the Cádiz customs area will also be present at Navalia 2026, including Cayco, Elecam Group, and Quest Global, companies that are part of the most representative technological and innovative business fabric of the Consortium. They are joined by other Cádiz firms like Surcontrol or Frizonia, which are attending the fair on their own account, highlighting the consolidated presence of the naval and technological sector of the province of Cádiz in these types of professional meetings.

Navalia faces its tenth edition with rising numbers. The fair will have 602 exhibitors in 2026, which represents an increase of nearly 13% compared to the previous edition, and will occupy the entirety of the available exhibition space in the four pavilions of the Vigo fairgrounds. Growth is also reflected in the commercial dimension of the event, which will go from just over 1,000 represented brands in 2024 to nearly 1,200 in this edition.

The Galician event also records a significant increase in international presence, especially from Asia, and includes the addition of new countries such as Bulgaria, Chile, Egypt, Hong Kong, and Ireland, according to data provided by the organization.

For the Free Trade Zone of Cádiz, Navalia constitutes a strategic meeting point that allows it to establish contacts in a sector closely linked to the Blue Economy. The relationship between both entities has tightened in recent years, as was evident in the joint celebration of the last Blue Zone Forum held last September in Cádiz, a Blue Economy meeting that has been organized since 2023 and converts the capital of Cádiz into a meeting point for sector agents.

The presence of five startups from Blue Core-Incubazul at a fair of the caliber of Navalia allows these emerging projects to access a showcase with over 600 exhibitors and nearly 1,200 brands, where they can establish commercial contacts and explore collaboration opportunities with companies and entities in the naval and industrial field on an international scale.
